Since last year, home prices within the community have increased by more than 16%, making it one of Central Ohio’s most competitive markets.
Parks and recreation
Hilliard’s Parks and Recreation Department currently maintains 27 parks for public use, so there are plenty of spots for you to explore! The city also sponsors local pools and fitness activities. One of our favorite spots is First Responders Memorial Park, a place dedicated to those who died on 9/11. This park features one of the nation’s largest 9/11 memorials, which is inscribed with the names of those who lost their lives. Additionally, Homestead Metro Park boasts plenty of outdoor and water activities, as well as a replica train station.

There are always plenty of things to do near Hilliard, especially considering Columbus is less than 20 minutes away.
Ready for some retail therapy? You’ve got to explore Mill Run, where you’ll find all of your favorite brands. Additionally, you’ll love the dining options that you’ll find throughout Hilliard. For more casual fare, don’t miss out on the traditional Starliner Diner, which serves up plenty of comfort food. For the area’s best beer and pizza, be sure to check out Beer Barrel Pizza and Grill and have a fun culinary treat.
Schools
Hilliard City Schools feature award-winning elementary, middle, and high schools. The district was given the “Excellent with Distinction” rating by the Ohio Department of Education multiple years in a row—and with 22 schools to choose from, you’ll find the best place to help your children succeed. Hilliard Davidson High School has been the recipient of many honors, including the Kennedy Center Award for its theater program.
